David James Cruickshank In Remembrance

March 12th 2020

It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a member of the Alberta Division Navy League Family, especially for RCSCC Campbelltown and the Sherwood Park Branch.

Please join RCSCC Campbelltown and Sherwood Park Branch mourning the loss of Mr. David Cruickshank who passed away on 20 February 2020 while working in Cranberry, Pennsylvania.  Dave was a longtime volunteer with Sherwood Park as a parent volunteer and a member of Branch. His wife, Tina Collins has served on the Branch for many years, most recently as president in 2015 and 2016, and then as immediate past president in 2017.

Their two youngest sons, Aiden and Quinn Collins-Cruickshank are currently cadets at RCSCC Campbeltown. Paige was previously involved as a cadet with RCSCC Campbeltown. When in town, Dave could be called on for just about anything. Dave was a loving father and spouse, a dependable volunteer, and a really nice guy to know as a friend.

Dave and Tina and their children have a very close relationship with many of our volunteers, especially the Beaulieu and Wallbank families, Lt (N) Jason Finkbeiner, and many other officers and volunteers.

Please keep Tina, Skyler, Paige, Aidan & Quinn in your thoughts and prayers.

A Celebration of David’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 am with a public visitation at 10:00 am at Trinity Funeral Home, 10530 116 Street, Edmonton.
