The year 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the Battle of the Atlantic. On the first Sunday of May, we commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice. In light of COVID-19, we at the Navy League of Canada - Alberta Division invite everyone to share this year's tribute online.
Public speaking is an important and valuable life skill. Here at the Navy League of Canada - Alberta Division, we pride ourselves in promoting public speaking at all ages. With the push towards an online platform, we have transposed our traditional delivery methods and are excited to present this course online for the benefit of all cadets, families and friends.

Have you ever wondered about what historical role the HMCS Sackville played?
HMCS Sackville is Canada’s oldest warship. This Naval Memorial and National Historic Site was a combat veteran of the
Second World War. She is the last of Canada’s 123 corvettes, one of many convoy escort vessels built in Canada and
the United Kingdom during the war. She played a pivotal role in winning the Battle of the Atlantic
and holds a special place in Canadian naval history and heritage.
