CPO1 Christopher Walker - Sea Cadet National Regatta Team

August 28th 2019

Chief Petty Officer 1st Class Christopher Walker was born in Nottingham, England.  In 2006 he emigrated to Calgary, Alberta with his family.  In September of 2013, he joined RCSCC Undaunted as an Ordinary Seaman and worked his way up through the ranks.  In January 2019, he was appointed to the position of Coxswain.

CPO1 Walker also has held the positions of Guard Divisional Petty Officer, Chief of Sailing and Quarter Master before being promoted to his current rank in April 2019.

CPO1 Walker has been a big player in the Cadet Sailing “World”.  He has volunteered countless hours to the Chestermere Lake Sailing Center on weekends before and after the summer stand-down.  Also as a competitive Sailor, he has been to the national cadet sailing regatta in the summer of 2018, placing 17 out of 25.  This year once again he is proceeding to nationals. With high hopes and a strong passion for sailing,  He wants to achieve a higher placing than last year and has his sights aimed at bringing home the gold for Alberta and the Prairie region.

All the best to CPO1 Walker.
