THE Navy League of Canada – Thank You Video
This is an open invitation to all Navy League Cadets across Canada.
The Media Team of Alberta Division would like your help in contributing to a video to show
our appreciation to the brave front line workers who put their lives forward to help us all
get through this COVID-19 emergency.
What We Need – A 3 Second Video
Requirements of the Video:
- Cadet* or Officer* in uniform

*Multiple cadets can be filmed as long as they are in the same household. Do not make arrangements to gather with fellow cadets to film.
- Film in a bright location in your home or yard.
- Use a smart phone camera. Selfie cameras are not recommended.
- Film in landscape (horizontally). Do not film in portrait mode.
- Smile and or wave at the camera and say “Thank You.”
- If you speak French, say “Merci Beaucoup.”
- Creativity is welcomed as long as social distancing is respected.
- Do multiple takes and select your favorite video for submission.
How to Submit:
Please rename your video file accordingly.

Avoid using extra periods or commas.

This helps us out a lot as it saves us from having to rename files.
Ways to Send:
Share it to us using Google Drive.
Share it with us on WeTransfer.
Email video as an attachment. Note: Files over 7mb may not send.

We have received quite a few videos. If we get enough video clips, we will make both a short commercial broadcast version and a long web version.

Update: March 30, 2020, 5:30 PMWe would like to thank those RCSCC Cadets and CIC Officers for submitting your video. We have learned that we did not receive authorization from DND for the Sea Cadets or CIC Officers to participate in this video. As a result, we will not be able to use any Sea Cadet videos submitted. We are really saddened. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. :(
We remain committed to producing a thank you video with the Navy League Cadets.

We want to take a moment and thank all of the Navy League of Canada Cadets for their video submissions. Because of the overwhelming number of videos received, we will be releasing multiple thank you videos.
