Rules and Regulations

There are no restrictions on who can purchase tickets except raffle tickets shall not be sold to a
person under 18 years of age.
Purchasers must not include the name of anyone under the age of 18 on the ticket due to the
requirements of the Public Trustee Act.
Tickets may only be purchased or sold in Alberta.
All ticket purchases are final, and refunds are not available.
Draw Dates:
The Early Bird Draw will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Headway School located at
10435 76 St NW, Edmonton, AB at 8:45 PM. Only tickets received by the Navy League of
Canada Alberta Division and the Navy League of Canada Strathcona Branch before Midnight on
Friday May 1, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.
The Second Prize Draw will be held on Saturday June 6, 2020 at Gull Lake Centre located at
22-28116, Township Rd 411, Lacombe County, AB at 7:30 PM. Only tickets received by the Navy
League of Canada Alberta Division and the Navy League of Canada Strathcona Branch before
Midnight on Friday May 29, 2020 will be eligible for this draw.
The Grand Prize Draw will be held on Saturday June 6, 2020 at Gull Lake Centre located at
22-28116, Township Rd 411, Lacombe County, AB at 7:30 PM. Only tickets received by the Navy
League of Canada Alberta Division and the Navy League of Canada Strathcona Branch before
Midnight on Friday May 29,2020 will be eligible for this draw.
Winning ticket stubs will be returned to the drum after each draw to be eligible for additional
prizes.
Each prize draw will select one winning ticket from the draw drum at random. In the instance
where multiple tickets are inadvertently selected from the draw drum the Navy League of
Canada Alberta Division and the Navy League of Canada Strathcona Branch will halt the draw
immediately, tickets will be returned to the drum, and the draw procedure will be performed to
determine one (1) winner.
The draw date will be made on the date as stated. An extension of the draw date or cancellation
of raffle will only be requested from AGLC in the unlikely event of ticket sales not meeting a
minimum of 2000 tickets sold prior to May 1, 2020.
Draw Order:
On Saturday June 6, 2020 the first draw will be for Prize #1 - $10,000 cash and the second
draw will be for Prize #2 - $7,500 cash.
All winners will be notified by way of a telephone call from a representative of Strathcona
Branch of what they have won and where they can claim their prize. Unable to reach the winner
by phone a letter will be sent to the winner with information on how to claim their prize.
All names, cities and winning ticket numbers of winners may be published on the Navy League
of Canada Alberta Division website and on social media.
Prizes:
Prize winners agree to accept the Prize as awarded. Prizes will be issued in the form of a bank
draft within 6 weeks of the draw date.
All prizes must be claimed within 1 year of the draw date. All reasonable attempts will be made
to contact the prize winner. Prize winners will be contacted by phone. If they cannot be reached
by phone they will be contacted by mail. If after 1 year any prizes remain unclaimed a request
will be made to AGLC to have the prize donated back to the Licensee.
Tickets:
In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall
award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket, and that Strathcona
Branch, Navy League of Canada, Navy League Of Canada, Alberta Division, and the AGLC are
not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose
names appear on the ticket stub.
All tickets will be controlled by the Navy League of Canada Alberta Division and the Navy
League of Canada Strathcona Branch. and are only available to purchase from a Navy League
Branch and their representatives within Alberta.
Total number of tickets available will be 10,000 single tickets at $10 each.
