Alberta Division Update

What’s New and Exciting?
Navy League Cadet Corps are working together under the guidance of Ms. Kim Preston, Lt (NL) Karen Murfin, Lt (NL) Dawn Schock and our Division Social Media Guru, Mrs. Ruth Anne Johnson, to create interactive fun and educational components for our Navy League cadets.

Check it out at:  https://www.abnavyleague.ca/online-interactive

Remember, this is a work in project; check back often, and if you have something to share,
please email RuthAnne.Johnson@abnavyleague.ca

In conjunction with PSICORP Media Group, Alberta Division is creating interactive classrooms for all cadet corps using Google Classroom, a platform most students are already familiar with.  COs will get a demo during their video conference on Saturday, April 3, 2020.

Operation Video Thank You
We goofed a little on this one.  Unfortunately, we don’t have permission from DND to use sea cadets or CIC officer videos at this time.  We will work on securing permission for future projects.   We are going forward with the Navy League Cadet and Navy League officer side of the project.

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Program Update
On Friday March 27, 2020 the Department of National Defence announced that all cadet activity is suspended until at least April 30, 2020.  An update will be provided near the end of April.
